Summary: The 3 rated Crystal Geyser trail is closer to Green River than Moab. The country south of the town of Green River and east of the river of Green River is beautiful in a desolate sort of way.
Location: The trail leaves Highway 191 some distance north of Moab.
Scenery: The cold water, carbon dioxide powered Crystal Geyser mellows many hours between eruptions but is an impressive site. The exposed sandstone cliffs in the Rainbow Rocks area are especially colorful.
