Jeep Safari is attracting more on more venders. The Spanish Arena is completely filled with a sizable overflow in the parking lot. The 4X4NOW TJ can be seen in the upper center of the right photo.
The
4X4NOW
booth was popular. Sharon can be seen behind a huge stack of Rick Russell
Off Highway Adventure videos with the 4X4NOW
TJ in the background. It's a long day at the booth for Sharon, but
convenient for Jeep Safari participants. The vender displays are open from
7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
Frenchie
LaChance had the booth right next to us. Here he is discussing an upcoming
Western Adventures Off Highway trip with some potential clients.
Teraflex
was showing off the articulation on their ZJ lift.
Currie
Enterprises had an excellent display.
Warn
was showing off their Full-Floating Axle. I learned they have a model for
the 98 TJ with Dana 44. Very tempting for those of us that flat tow.
Durango
Truck and 4X4 had a very nice display.
Durabak
displayed its do-it-yourself bed liner.
JKS
Manufacturing was there showing their sway bar disconnects and other suspension
and steering products.
This is just a sample of the many venders inside the Arena.
And
outside there were many more. Again these are just a sample.
Avalanche
Engineering displayed its custom suspension work.
Tuffy
Security was there with their consoles and lock boxes.
Jan
and Pat Gremillion were there with their Premier Power Welder and Pull Pal.
Tomken
Machine was displaying their wares.
Some
very nice Suzuki work.
And
BFGoodrich was there mounting the tire of your choice for a trial run.
There were other tire manufacturers there too this year. But it was
BFGoodrich that started this try 'um before you but 'um service.
And Again there were many more.
Barbecue and Door Prizes

The Boy Scout Barbecue was held Friday night in the Spanish Arena. The Arena was nearly filled to capacity for the barbecue and the door prize drawings that followed. The Boy Scout Barbecue is an excellent meal and a chance to support the Boy Scouts.
Dan Mick moderated the door prize drawings. With the number of sets of tires, winches, lifts, lockers etc. that were given away, I'd estimate the total value of the door prizes as approaching $10,000. But several tickets drawn went unclaimed and additional tickets were draw until someone in the audience claimed the prize. It pays to be there.
We packed our booth up and left right after the drawings were over. We did a lot of business, but most of all, I enjoyed meeting so many 4X4NOW viewers in person. It was really nice to hear so many compliments about our website.
